I am done with the grant proposal! woo hoo!
I want to know why the media came out with all of this the day after the election. Isn't this their job?
In 2004, the NYT was careful not to publish a story on Bush (I am sorry, I can't recall what story--debate FAIL!) that could have had a big effect on the election outcome until after the election for that very reason. I'm not sure
why
it's no longer considered part of a newspaper's mission to publish stories that could have an important impact in a timely fashion, but I do notice they take pains to mitigate any real impact the news has on actual political events.

My cousin works for the Government Accountability Office and I remember a slew of reports coming out in late September and early October of 2004 and she told me it was because there was a release deadline due to the election.
Of course, they are a non-partisan government office and not a news organization, but...
Just had a light power flicker. Hrmmmm.
Cash I vote hilariously awful.
Okay, the mascots for the Vancouver Olympics are too freaking cute!
I took the quiz to see which mascot I am, and I am Quatchi, the young sasquatch.
I always suspected as much.
