Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I kind of just realized I've had a sore throat all day. I better be able to sleep that off tonight.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

No snow yet here, I kinda doubt we will get 4-6 I heard predicted.

Mac had a bad afternoon, I hope it does not spill into tomorrow.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I am done with the grant proposal! woo hoo!

I want to know why the media came out with all of this the day after the election. Isn't this their job?

In 2004, the NYT was careful not to publish a story on Bush (I am sorry, I can't recall what story--debate FAIL!) that could have had a big effect on the election outcome until after the election for that very reason. I'm not sure why it's no longer considered part of a newspaper's mission to publish stories that could have an important impact in a timely fashion, but I do notice they take pains to mitigate any real impact the news has on actual political events.

Oh, sorry to keep burbling, but I have to share something I overheard today on campus: "I just realized something the other day. Did you know the library has bathrooms?"

Poor guy. Studying on campus must have been a real hardship for him.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Studying on campus must have been a real hardship for him.

Either that, or you've just discovered the secret identity of Super Fantastic Bladder Man.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Cute? or Awful?

I have to venture out to get diet coke and rent Zombie Land.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, my, he's dreamy.

Better-weekend vibes to msbelle and Mac.

We were supposed to get Rainpocalypse II here yesterday and today, but mostly it's been Gloom and Drizzlegeddon.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I want to know why the media came out with all of this the day after the election. Isn't this their job?

My cousin works for the Government Accountability Office and I remember a slew of reports coming out in late September and early October of 2004 and she told me it was because there was a release deadline due to the election.

Of course, they are a non-partisan government office and not a news organization, but...
