Sweet lumpy minion, you're the only one that understands. Probably 'cause I haven't sucked the brain out of you yet.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had chronic ear infections and was within 2 infections of having tube put in...and then I didn't have another for 2 years.

That kind of thing is so weird to me -- my aunt was saying that my cousin would get his tonsils out, if he got strep 7 times a year or something, but he usually gets it 6 times, so no go. That still seems like a shitload of strep infections!

Woohoo, I have a date for the FM tomorrow morning! One of the neighbors I really clicked with (honestly, I liked them all, but she's one of maybe 3 or 4 that you just get a "OK, someday I will have a really bad day and end up drunk and cryinglaughing on her shoulder" vibe from.)

I'm unreasonably pleased. I have such a crush on this place.

What's FM? And that is pleasing!

I'm on an online buying spree. So far, two pairs of boots and one cat scratcher thing.

Farmer's market. Last weekend I was out running errand when one of the other 3 or 4 called, so I went alone. And she's out of town this weekend, so I was thinking I was going alone again (and debating not, since it will be cold, but I want to get more empanadas and possibly some bread and now I WILL go. And not sleep the morning away, which I'd rather not do.)

(FM is a 10-15 minute walk away, and even in winter, is really damned good.)

Crap, must check cash supplies. eta: OK, $30, plenty to get coffee, a stack of empanadas and whatnot. I'm not used to using cash.

“Not dead yet!”

OW. Your outcome was markedly worse than mine. I just envisioned blood and death and tears and pain. You got actual tears and pain.

Yeah, I'm still tingly in a not good way but it's mostly subsided.

Of course, now I have images involving syringes, since I'm getting ready to give Mooshu his insulin shot.

Tread carefully (my syringe was for Mister Kitty for the same.)

Oh, cool. My local farmer's market isn't there in the winter.

Apparently, we have one of the few year-round ones in the area. It's scaled down, but still worth it. Falafel, local dairy and cheese and egg vendors (reminds me, I need to make an omelet with the eggs I got last week for baking. Wanna see if I can taste the difference between grocery eggs and organic local brown eggs,) produce (both local and otherwise, though I understand it is still small farm-OOOH, should get omelet stuff there!,) coffee roasters, bakers/bakeries of various sorts, some antiquers, soaps, etc. It's awesome.
