I'm a vision of hotliness, and how weird is that? Mystical comas. You know, if you can stand the horror of a higher power hijacking your mind and body so that it can give birth to itself, I really recommend 'em.

“Not dead yet!”

You know what I don't like?

Forgetting that I didn't rinse my hands after chopping the onion and garlic and then rubbing my eye.

OW. Your outcome was markedly worse than mine. I just envisioned blood and death and tears and pain. You got actual tears and pain.

Amy, I can't remember exactly how old you are - I think a couple of years older than me? But Amy was the #2 name in the US from 1973-1976, and top 15 from 1967-1984. If you had lots of Karens and Susans you're probably an early Amy - those were top 5 in the mid-60s and then fell dramatically starting in about 1968.

Because books.

Yeah, I was born in 1967, flea. See, I knew you'd know! The Karens were all either my age or older, and two of the Susans were younger and one was my age.

OW, Barb.

Youngest nephew is getting tubes in both ears. SIL freaked out, but it is a good thing. Hopefully will resolve the hearing loss (his ears haven't been clear enough to test if the loss is clog or scarring.)

Should help with ear infections, sarameg.

I had them as a kid too.

Because books.

I'm pretty sure the little girl next door them, and they were a big help. Never a fun thing to hear, but he'll do great.

I had chronic ear infections and was within 2 infections of having tube put in...and then I didn't have another for 2 years. I've mostly grown out of them, but I'm really careful about keeping my ears clear when I am sick (and washing them out after swimming.)

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I had a tube in my left ear when I was a kid. The main issue I had with it was having to wear an earplug when I was sitting with my left ear next to an open car window or when I went swimming.

I hope his ears clear up with the tubes, sarameg.
