When I trained Dallas to her first soft-sided carrier (which she initially was having none of) it took about two weeks but it wasn't too tough.
First we'd only play if it was nearby. Then I'd only pet her if she was sitting on it. Eventually she'd sit IN it and I'd zip it a little more each time. In pretty short order if I took the thing out she'd come running over. The hardest part was ignoring her until I had the carrier in hand.
I don't think most cats would be impressed by such nonsense, but I suspect that if you ONLY pet a dog with empty balloons (same material, far cheaper, more comfy) on your fingers and then increasingly touched their feet it would be a pretty painless process.
These pillow covers I love. I want the front room of the new house to have two walls painted in the darker peacock blue and then all the furniture chocolate brown. [link]
Ooh, that would be gorgeous.
That's gorgeous, msbelle.

LOVE!!
We do have a great vet! And I saw one of the adorable vet techs out at brunch this weekend. So sweet!
I need to focus on things like this and not the things that are sending me from 0 to ENRAGED these days. It would be better for my head.
That's way sophisticated design, msbelle. Looks great.
Crinolines today. People will think I've lost my mind.
Oh, I was going to say this yesterday, ita -- it's about performing female rather than just being female.
and now I am earwormed.
sooooooo phisticated.
I am really excited to have the luxury, and I realize it is a luxury, of potentially having ownership months before move in so I can paint and think about rooms before the full on stress of moving stuff.
I think I will be making a few trips to the Indian fabric stores in my hood also to find fabric for curtains, pillow, and sheers.
I don't know what "performing female" means.
