would you be mad
that my groom planned a whole thing with his friends for our reception without letting me know? Yeah.
That is was probably bad and embarrassing (I have no sound)? even worse. They can do that shit in one of their basements - ridic. She took it better than I would have, I would have left the room, probably with cursing.
But really any planned "entertainment" or event at a wedding or wedding reception should be vetted through the bride AND groom, ijs.

Yeah, that sounds like non-insane-troll-logic to me....
I don't know if I would have been frozen with horror or helpless with laughter. Either way, my reaction would have depended on how the rest of the wedding had gone. If everything else had been good, I would probably find it funny (eventually). If there had been problems, I would be in the "one more way my wedding was ruined" camp
If you were getting married and your spouse decided to re-enact a scene from Superman II with his friends during the ceremony, and your spouse didn't tell you ahead of time, would you be mad?
Not so much mad as divorced immediately.

I'd say if one of the spouses plans something like that without telling the other, that's a pretty good indication of what your marriage is going to be like.
OTOH, that kind of self-centered douchery seems like it would have manifested itself in the relationship long before the actual wedding (unless they only knew each other for maybe 2 weeks before getting married).
IOW, I'd think that the bride would have known that her groom was prone to self-centered embarrassing douchery long before the actual ceremony. (Not that she deserved it, but still.)

AMEN!

You'd think...
I'd be very surprised if the bride really had "no idea" this was going to happen, given that the participants were already in full costume.

...was the wedding performed at DragonCon?

From the video, it looks like it was performed in Grand Central Station, but the groom & co are definitely in spandex before the stunt begins. I think Bride would have to be pretty dim to not realize something was up.

That's never a good sign.
