I don't know if I would have been frozen with horror or helpless with laughter. Either way, my reaction would have depended on how the rest of the wedding had gone. If everything else had been good, I would probably find it funny (eventually). If there had been problems, I would be in the "one more way my wedding was ruined" camp

If you were getting married and your spouse decided to re-enact a scene from Superman II with his friends during the ceremony, and your spouse didn't tell you ahead of time, would you be mad?
Not so much mad as divorced immediately.
But really any planned "entertainment" or event at a wedding or wedding reception should be vetted through the bride AND groom, ijs.
I'd say if one of the spouses plans something like that without telling the other, that's a pretty good indication of what your marriage is going to be like.
OTOH, that kind of self-centered douchery seems like it would have manifested itself in the relationship long before the actual wedding (unless they only knew each other for maybe 2 weeks before getting married).
IOW, I'd think that the bride would have known that her groom was prone to self-centered embarrassing douchery long before the actual ceremony. (Not that she deserved it, but still.)

From the video, it looks like it was performed in Grand Central Station, but the groom & co are definitely in spandex before the stunt begins. I think Bride would have to be pretty dim to not realize something was up.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
I don't think there's time in today's job market for me to send paper thank you notes after an interview. I got this job, for instance, before I'd have been able to get them one. Not that I sent an email one, because it was through a consulting company and I didn't have the end company's contact information.
I think if the groom's shenanigans honestly took me by surprise, I'd be pissed. If I knew it's the sort of thing he'd likely pull, I guess I could take it in stride. I can't watch the video from here, but them already being in spandex sounds iffy.

yes- spandex, and duct tape. I can actually see it being a surprise, because three guys came in and pontificated a few minutes before anything happened. the groom would have been able to duck out and change easily.
