Why would this lefty restaurant I'm at not server real ham? Are pigs treated worse than turkeys? Maybe free-range turkey is available but free range ham not?

Traditional eggs benedict has Canadian bacon. I can't remember what part of the pig it's cut from, but it tastes basically like ham.

Cool. I'm seitting here thinking "what goes on eggs benedict? Spinach? Oysters? Crab cakes? No, self, normal eggs benedict, what's on that?" and drawing a complete blank. Not that I ever make it or even order it, but I like to read the descriptions on menus.
