Zoe: What's that, sir? Mal: Freedom, is what. Zoe: No, I meant what's that? Mal: Oh. Yeah. Just step around it. I think something must've been living in here.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Frank, would you redact my address in your quote? Thanks.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Maybe a spa appointment of some sort? Something relaxing and all about you. I like a massage, myself, but I have friends who swear by a pedicure.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jesse, your profile address is now a BIG LIE. FYI.

Spent too much of last night fretting about one particular feature of the solution we're designing. It looks like it won't be a problem, but I know it's just coincidentally not a problem, if that turns out to be true. I'm still having the developers prove it to me before I can rest easily. I'm just pretending it's the end user they're proving it for.

Some people say yes too easily.

Don't you get a charge off the cinema experience? Or is it just a hassle?

Oh, I would also recommend a walk on 5th, or elsewhere for windows.

I am still for NYC! I am just not in NYC.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

On my way to work this morning, I drove by a local bookstore that was advertising a Sarah Palin signing on Sunday. Oy.

I like going to the movies by myself, but not at night and not a Friday night. I kinda hate people is the thing.

I am now thinking I might hit MOMA right after work and then do dinner. I can take as long as I want at each!

Picket it with pictures of her with a Hitler moustache.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

MOMA is a good idea. Maybe a treat at a local cafe too.

Interesting article suggesting that stretching and flexibility are (a) overrated and (b) mostly genetic.

Last year all the Little League Coaches got a seminar on pre-practice workouts and they emphasized that static stretching was only for cooling off afterwards, that they wanted us to get everybody moving beforehand: run laps, do duck walks and walking leg kicks.
