Doesn't sound like what she was describing as adult nerdiness at the start of her piece.

I'd like to say it was big of her to go anyway, but I don't quite think so.

Perhaps if she'd gone just out of curiosity rather than to find fodder for her blog?

I'm not sure if I formed an immediate dislike of her over the backhanded dis of Tom, or the superior attitude toward my people in general.

Yeah, I'm having a hard time not wanting to flame the eff out of her blog. A) You do NOT dis The Tom. At all. Two things that are not done: Do not dis The Tom, Do not dis The Nilly.
