Iffen you don't grok nerds, stay away from groups of nerds. Don't be startled or imply disappointment when you see one AT NERD NITE. @@.

My thought is, "They sound like some nice dudes and Bitch TOOK MY SPOT".
Props to Tom for keeping his cool with this girl. I am totally [totes!] outraged on everyone's behalf that she goes to nerd night and has a problem with, of all GD things, comic books. I guess she didn't go to Dark Knight or Spiderman or Iron Man? Because comic books are WEIRD! I want to internet flame her ass for being a judgmental goddamn hypocrite.
I think people think TV nerd, ala Screech. Like what Joss said about the Willow casting call where all the actresses looked so weird.Because I like to think I'm intellectual and I'm not hip but I really don't have a pocket protector, you know? And even I read Gotham Central.Well, I'm behind now, but, you know.

Paula Deen nurses ham-in-face slam
I now know who Paula Deen is. But is my life richer for it?
It was a flying ham! I missed that until now.
I love Paula Deen. It's the Southern girl in me.
I find her food a little frightening, but she herself is just delightful.
I want to internet flame her ass for being a judgmental goddamn hypocrite.
Yeah, the weird "Hey check it out, I'm SLUMMING with actual nerds! Isn't that a RIOT?" tone is... off-putting, to say the least. But then I looked at her other entries and she seems to be trying much too hard in general. So I've gone from annoyed to, "Oh, you're in your 30s and you still need to establish how cool you are all the time? Wow. Well, have at it then, you obviously need that validation a lot more than I do."
