What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

My favorite part is caption under the picture. It's a good thing they had that caption, otherwise I'd be awfully confused.

Haaaaaa.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

She is not a welfare queen! She works hard! bon, don't judge.

The Daily Mail is the unthinkiest linkiest paper. I could click around their right hand navigation photos forever, and I don't know a third of those people. But I'm coming up to speed.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

It is cold and raining here. Yuck.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I had my UPS orientation this morning, which was a paid way to spend three hours getting told that safety is important. I mean, I can see why, with all the loose packages and millions of miles of trucks driven each year.

There was a whole section on dogs. Hopefully, as a temp truck delivery assistant in wintry, semi-urban MA, there won't be too many yard dogs to worry about.

I think Kat knows everyone's hoods. She gets around LA.

HA! That sounds naughtier than it needs to. And I barely leave the house now that I have a kid who can only go 1 hour between pee breaks and won't use adult sized toilets.

But perhaps this is just a testament to the fact that I eat out too much.

(BTW, my favorite current thing? $5 pasta at Pasta Pomodoro on Wednesday. They do a mean baked rigatoni).

$5 pasta at Pasta Pomodoro on Wednesday.

What now! Is this just an L.A. thing? I like their...something with curly pasta with chicken. Although it was better the first time I had it; either they changed their menu or the places in San Francisco and Oakland have different menus.

PC - they have a 5 for $5, so it's a limited cheap menu. (Are you describing the gemelli with smoked chicken in a cream sauce?)

I don't know if it's just an LA thing or not, but it's wonderful.

First time I typed it it was just "Kat gets around." I edited myself for your modesty.

I wonder if I have a Pasta Pomodoro near me. First I need to categorically work out why/if cream sauces seem to be a migraine trigger unless I make them myself. I haven't seen an ingredient list yet that tips me off. But it's the sort of trigger I can forestall by taking anti-nausea meds ahead of time.

Yes! Although the first time I had it, it was some other curly pasta. That started with an R. Let me check my records...

Rigatoni! It was rigatoni with smoked chicken in a cream sauce. And they did not skimp on the chicken. It was yummy.

I'll see if they're doing that 5 for $5 here. I'm on the mailing list, and I haven't gotten anything about it.

I'm waiting for sarameg at Starbucks (near the airport) to call me and I realized I don't have her cell number anymore. ARGH.

If any of you have her cell can you text it to me?

Nebbermind. I found it in a 2 year old old LJ post.
