(Are you describing the gemelli with smoked chicken in a cream sauce?)
Yes! Although the first time I had it, it was some other curly pasta. That started with an R. Let me check my records...
Rigatoni! It was rigatoni with smoked chicken in a cream sauce. And they did not skimp on the chicken. It was yummy.
I'll see if they're doing that 5 for $5 here. I'm on the mailing list, and I haven't gotten anything about it.
I'm waiting for sarameg at Starbucks (near the airport) to call me and I realized I don't have her cell number anymore. ARGH.
If any of you have her cell can you text it to me?
Nebbermind. I found it in a 2 year old old LJ post.
Damn you all! I totally want smoked chicken in cream sauce now, but I see that Pasta Pomodoro is only in California! *sigh*
If it makes you feel any better, Vortex, I'm in California and not reasonably near one.
Sorry, Kat. I could have sworn I had it, because she has called me, but I can't find it on my phone.
Is Burbank the closest one to you, ita?
I don't have it either, Kat. I thought I had it in an old email, but apparently not.
Well, the good news is that the stuff I'm working on at work is going far more quickly than I expected, now that I finally have access to the parts of the cms where I need to do it. The bad news is that the stuff everyone else is working on seems to be taking for ever. I'm trying to appreciate our graphic artist's professionalism, but at the end of the day I just want to scream at her, "There's a giant hole at the top of the website. Just fill it with something!"
I guess that makes me a Philistine, but I'm a Philistine with a whole lot of checks in her to-do list's "completed" row.
There is a Pasta Pomodoro in Sherman Oaks. We've been a couple of times and are kind of meh on it.
Is Burbank the closest one to you, ita?
That or WeHo. They're not actually that far, just neither of them are on the way to anywhere I go normally. Plus I wanted to make Vortex feel better.

Somewhere there are Philistinians who are very offended with this turn of phrase, I'll have you know. I just wanted to preemptively put that out there.
I just made myself a whole lot more work today, but in a good way. Problem is, I made some nice guys a whole lot more questions to answer at the same time. Ah, well. Had to be done sometime.
