The Galaxy Dress is composed of 24,000 LEDs, each measuring two by two millimeters, attached to four layers of chiffon and forty layers of crinoline. The whole thing can be powered by a few iPod batteries for up to an hour. It’s one of the recent creations of CuteCircuit, a design firm specializing in “wearable technology.”
Don't wear that to the airport! Especially in Boston.
Never mind--thought better of posting that.
In other book news, I'm re-reading More Tales of the City, and my copy has pictures from the mini-series inside, and there was Colin! I think I once knew he was Burke, but forgot. Good times.
In case anyone else is close to someone with OCD, I found a recommendation for Herb Gravitz's book "OCD, Help for the Family." Now to see if one of my libraries has it...
Don't ever call me whitey.
That's why I didn't go there.
It must be that it's Fri the 13th.
Dear woman in other department I thought wasn't going to cause me a problem today,

I think maybe I should just go home now.

I wanted a bagel at the coffee shop yesterday but I got a croissant instead. Both options were plain.
Weekend: today-many errands, including yarn store, yay! Then setting up one church`s sound system and rehearsal for the other church. Sat-teaching, church, planting onions & garlic, and cleaning house. Because Sun-leaving on train trip, whoo! Convention then holidays with the families. Should be fun.
yarn store,yay!
I'm picturing Liese like this.
there was Colin!
Good times indeed. That was one of his first big exposure gigs, and it came with a personal trainer and dietary regimen and everything. Very exciting.
