Never mind--thought better of posting that.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
In other book news, I'm re-reading More Tales of the City, and my copy has pictures from the mini-series inside, and there was Colin! I think I once knew he was Burke, but forgot. Good times.
In case anyone else is close to someone with OCD, I found a recommendation for Herb Gravitz's book "OCD, Help for the Family." Now to see if one of my libraries has it...
Don't ever call me whitey.
That's why I didn't go there.
It must be that it's Fri the 13th.
Dear woman in other department I thought wasn't going to cause me a problem today,
The page that promotes your stuff is as important as everyone else's. That being said, you do not get extra promotional space on the homepage. Particularly when that space is the main way people can get to the sign-up flow. You know, acquisition. What we were told trumps all other departments.
In short, no.
Cheers, Me
I think maybe I should just go home now.
On a lighter note-I kinda love Jack Black for those Men for Women commercials. Maybe also for Brutal Legend.
I wanted a bagel at the coffee shop yesterday but I got a croissant instead. Both options were plain.
Weekend: today-many errands, including yarn store, yay! Then setting up one church`s sound system and rehearsal for the other church. Sat-teaching, church, planting onions & garlic, and cleaning house. Because Sun-leaving on train trip, whoo! Convention then holidays with the families. Should be fun.
there was Colin!
Good times indeed. That was one of his first big exposure gigs, and it came with a personal trainer and dietary regimen and everything. Very exciting.
Thanks for the birthday wishes, everyone.
Weekend plans: not much. Chipotle is test-marketing a new vegan "chicken" burrito, and right now they only have it at one location, which happens to be in DC. So I'm probably going to Chipotle for lunch on Sunday.
Thanksgiving stuff: my mom makes tons of lists for Thanksgiving. There is also a schedule, showing who is cooking what and when. And she puts all the serving platters on the kitchen table ahead of time (we eat at the dining room table) with post-its on each one telling which dish gets served in it, so that even if she's not the one putting the dishes onto the serving platters, they'll still be on the ones she wants.
