While most of that movie used the 3-D to superb and subtle effect, it did have one Dr. Tongue's 3D House of Stewardesses moment with those floating dream mice.
OK, that sounds porny, and I can't imagine why mice would be porny.
ETA except in a human habit trail sort of way, and I really hope that's not what you're talking about.
Watching Shawshank for the five millionth time--can't pass up watching it when it shows up on Encore. Andy's about to bust out! Warden just gave him his shoes to shine.

Just caught up with 9 on DVD - it's joining Wall-E on my list of movies that really would have been better as silent films. (The original 9 short was dialogue free and WOW so much better!) The visuals are still pretty spectacular, but the exposition kind of made my ears bleed.
(Both 9 and Wall-E also joining 2001 on list of movies where round robots with glowing red eyes turn out evil, or at least pragmatic to a fault and to the detriment of human life.)
Good advice for the 2010: Never trust a round robot.

The 9 short was better story telling, but I liked the movie for its own sake.

Owen just gave me his first spoiler! We rented G-Force for the kids. They went with a friend to see it in the theatre, but wanted to see it again. When Speckle gets crushed in the garbage truck, Owen looked at me and said, "He's going to die in the garbage truck and then he becomes the bad guy!" So I checked the plot on Wikipedia and it does, in fact, reveal that the star-nosed mole is actually the evil mastermind behind the plot to destroy humanity. *sniff* I'm so proud.
9 ! That was what I wanted to add to my queue, now that I have one.
I'm also catching up with Bolt which has me going "Puppy!"
