Just out of curiosity, what's everyone's read on WTF is going on with James Franco here?: [link]
Franco's all put out that everyone's panties are in a knot over Cavill's hotness and is trying to make it all about him.

My main question is why is a newspaper basically just reprinting James Franco's blog.
But everyone's panties are all in knot about someone's hotness at any given time. And, honestly, I haven't heard as much about Cavill as other guys playing superheroes.
Yeah. Maybe there's extra sting to Cavill's success because Franco had super hero movie ambitions himself that have been tanked with the Spider-Man reboot, but Robert Downey Jr. gets more attention for his forays in the field and he has indie darling cred that's more like what Franco's trying to build to boot. It really reads as being written entirely in Bitter Ex-speak to me. I half expected him to finish the blog entry by quoting Adele lyrics.
C) Cavill had a one night stand with him and discarded him like used kleenex and Franco hasn't gotten over it.
I really want it to be this.

I'm ashamed to say I would read the fic about it.

To be fair, if I'd hit THAT nine years ago I might have had difficulty letting go, too.
I must admit, Cavill didn't do anything for me until I saw him in the Paul Bunyon version in MoS. I think I growled at the screen.
Oh, I wanted him as Charles Brandon, for sure. He was awesome in that, and BEAUTIFUL.
We saw Much Ado About Nothing tonight. Man, Clark Gregg was born to be filmed in black and white. I mean REALLY. I can't really explain why he just stood out to me, but he just looked so very right in B/W.
Also, holy jeebus, Joss Whedon's HOUSE.
Otherwise, uh, I think I watched the Kenneth Branagh version too much at an impressionable age. (What? I was impressionable at 22!) I couldn't help comparing the two films, particularly Beatrice and Benedick, and I found that I really preferred the Branagh version.
I feel traitorous.
