C) Cavill had a one night stand with him and discarded him like used kleenex and Franco hasn't gotten over it.

To be fair, if I'd hit THAT nine years ago I might have had difficulty letting go, too.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I must admit, Cavill didn't do anything for me until I saw him in the Paul Bunyon version in MoS. I think I growled at the screen.

Because books.

Oh, I wanted him as Charles Brandon, for sure. He was awesome in that, and BEAUTIFUL.

We saw Much Ado About Nothing tonight. Man, Clark Gregg was born to be filmed in black and white. I mean REALLY. I can't really explain why he just stood out to me, but he just looked so very right in B/W.

Also, holy jeebus, Joss Whedon's HOUSE.

Otherwise, uh, I think I watched the Kenneth Branagh version too much at an impressionable age. (What? I was impressionable at 22!) I couldn't help comparing the two films, particularly Beatrice and Benedick, and I found that I really preferred the Branagh version.

I feel traitorous.

Well, Branagh may have skotch more Shakespeare training.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

My neighbor's kids are named Beatrice and Benedict (not twins). They swear it was unintentional.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

They swear it was unintentional.

Pfft.

I would like to see Branagh do MacBeth. I loved his Henry V and Hamlet.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

How was Fillion's HodgeDogberry?

Definitely good. He and Tom Lenk were hilarious together. (Is Tom Lenk tiny, or Fillion huge, or both?)

I forgot how ridiculously attractive Alexis Denisof and Sean Maher are. (And remembered how much I like scruffy!Wesley.)
