[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

can you e-mail a shopping list? Or is it a matter of picking up the right flavor/brand of something as well?

It's more of a matter of last time I sent him to the market to get five items, he had to call me five times. It's just not his cup of tea.

omnis, want to go cluestick someone for me? They're not too far from where you live.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

{{{Nora}}} I'm glad the meeting made you feel a bit better. October will be here before you know it and you can put all of this behind you and get that piece of paper. In the meantime, have a fun ass summer!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

P-C, how are your teeths? Or, I guess -- how are your empty sockets?

They're okay. The most sore socket is, I presume, the one where the tooth was coming in sideways and likely the most traumatic one to remove. But I feel better every day, and I only needed Vicodin that first day. It's been basically fine since then.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Finally got caught up here after being away this weekend.

Nora, sorry to hear the meeting didn't go as hoped, but I am happy to hear it went well for what it was.

Trust my rage

Nora, I've been thinking about you today. I'm sorry it didn't work out, but I hope youa re able to reach some level of peace about it.

No word on Aimee? I've been wondering about her too.

Well, I carry two of them at all times. And right now, in our office, stress/frustration is high, so I might be able to raise a posse!

ION, it looks like our little event is going to cause last minute background checks on everyone. A certain new resident's wife might be showing up. Ssssssh. Super Seekrit. She still has 4 days to cancel.

IOON, I just rode in a 1971 ragtop Mustang!

Compassionately intolerant

Nora, I 'walked' my undergrad commencement with an empty diploma case due to an incomplete I took to care for my injured husband. The uni was very nice about it and the event wasn't tarnished at all.

In truth, I didn't know it was possible until my beloved adviser hipped me to it.

Couldn't hurt to ask if this is a possibility.

Thanks for the passed along skritch omnis and, yeah, I'm letting my rage dissipate into gratitude that nothing horrible happened as a result of the other hospital's negligence. You gotta know I'm writing a letter though!

Glad someone is "yay"ing our stress. Good that it can be put to good use.
