OMG, I am so, so sleepy. Had an upset stomach all last night and didn't sleep for squat and now I'm sitting here yawning those huge, jaw-breaking, throat hurting yawns.

And I need to get in the car and go run errands. This will not be fun.

He's still sleeping and I've been watching Castle and the Unusuals but I'm running out of teevee and have to work at noon. I'm going to have to either deal with the horror of his bashing the cone or tie him to me.

Well, I slept a little longer, and my shoulder feels a bit better. Still not great. I'm trying to decide whether I should go into the office this afternoon. There's a bunch of work I really ought to do.

I'm with you. I want the undergrads to finish. It's now impossible to get a parking space, to get into the library, to get a computer with data analysis software, or to get a seat in any cafe on campus. I'm attempting to go around with a "Well you should have started earlier, shouldn't you?" look on my face (but this isn't freeing up any parking yet).

Hope the Empress is okay.

I'd like some Aims news as well.

ION - I had a really fantastic day yesterday. I first spent the afternoon entertaining Jilli. We had lunch at Roscoe's, then spent some time in Vroman's bookstore. After that we just hung out at Drew & Kristin's, chatting until it was time to take her to the airport.

Then Drew and I had dinner, and went back to his place for an evening of card games with local friends until one in the morning.

Basically I had a fourteen hour solid block of fun and friends yesterday.

That sounds like a very fun day, Sean.

OK, I have achieved sitting upright, eating lunch, brushing my teeth, and taking vitamins and Tylenol. Next step, get dressed and go study? Or, at the very least, get dressed and go to the pharmacy to get painkiller prescription filled. At any rate, "get dressed" is the next step.

Shir, glad the library offered some sanctuary. Hope you feel better, and your friend isn't miffed. Coughing keeping you awake can be quite frustrating.
