Okay, between the wedding script and Ginger's ENT appointment...I'm having Lord of the Rings flashbacks.
Deena! I'm sorry about Aidan's celiac, sweet boy. In some lives we just read ingredient labels all the way through, don't we?
My wisdom teeth extraction was no big. I didn't do smoothies and milkshakes because the dentist vetoed sucking on a straw. Pureed foods were better. Wasn't very hungry for a couple of days, and by the time I was, I could eat anything but Cap'n Crunch.
I hope it's not too bad. I want to see Star Trek ! But I will be in pain or something.
Wuss. Hubby has gone to many a midnight showing of a big movie the day after spinal surgery or with a currently occurring heart attack. You can handle tooth extraction pain.

Yes, but your husband is in a class of his own. (Well, my dad might fall in that category, too.)

Mad Vikings who need a clue by 4 to realize that yes, that much blood is bad and no, I'm not just going to put a couple of band-aids on it for you as you hold the sides of the gash closed?
Gods, the things they don't cover in the wedding vows. "In sickness or health" should come with an asterix and small type.
From yesterday, am thinking good thoughts for both Nora and Jilli. So sorry for the news on both fronts. And also good thoughts to Deena and la familia. Also, lovely to see Deena!
Happy to report a good eye exam this morning, too. No issues from diabetes. ::high fives connie::
Bonny, your link doesn't work, and I'm curious. I use this. It doesn't have the same taste or consistency as regular or whole wheat pasta, but after more than a year without mac&cheese, it does pretty well.
I don't do cheddar mac, the taste difference is off-putting. I cook a half-cup dry pasta to directions, drain and put back in pan with a tsp. butter, Tbsp. half & half, 1/4 cup cottage cheese, a sprinkle (maybe 1/8 cup, or less) of shredded mixed skim mozzie, provolone, romano, fortuna, parm, and asiago, with a shake of grated dry parm, romano and asiago, a token grind of sea salt and a good healthy coarse grind of black pepper. Comfort food for grownups.
Keith Olbermann has a minor case of celiac disease...it's one of his many causes.
Final grades are in: 3 A's, 2 A-'s. Graduating GPA: 3.93!!!
Woot! Look at you, girl! Now we do the dance of joy. Seriously, you worked hard for that, and deserve every GP of that A.
