I already know what I'm gonna call her. Got a name all picked out...

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

“Not dead yet!”

Toaster OVEN, though -- YEARS of study, my friend. YEARS.

And lest we forget... a waffle maker.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Blenders are for the win. I bought a random blender, and do not make any claims to it being a particularly awesome example of the species, but I was very excited by the realisation that I could grind my own coffee beans. Proper coffee for the win! Other than that, my own definition of smoothies is squishy (could be frozen) fruit + banana + juice (rather than anything dairy-based) and it is YUM! And you can make your own sexy coffee type things, by combining coffee with icecream and/or ice! And adding other stuff that is yummy! And soup made out of leftovers! Any leftovers! That also is made of win.

...damn. I should use my blender more often.

ion, damn, fresh ripe mango is SO YUMMY!!!

ioon, I have still not been to the doctor, but I will probably go, because that would be a good idea. But the lump under my arm which was freaking me out over the weekend has shrunk and shrunk and is no longer tender or sore, so that is good. Um. But I know I should still go see the doctor. Because - lumps. Not good.

“Not dead yet!”

And who wants to clean that up when you are in pain, hungry, and drugged out?

Dude, talk to any new mother, especially after they've had a Cesarean.

Life happens.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I like this even better when you add Kahlua.

Vanilla Stoli. Mmmmmmmmmmm, boozy milkshake....

FTR, I do not own a blender and cannot attest to how easy they may or may not be to operate. The reason I do not own a blender is because I own a stand mixer, 2 food processors (one mini, one full sized) and a stick blender with assorted attachments.

I did finally get my Toaster Oven certificate last year, and have hung it proudly on my wall.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I think the trick is to buy the blender before the surgery, then use it, oh, once, and then you'll know how to put the top on.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

And lest we forget... a waffle maker.

Hey, waffle makers cause 1 million deaths a year. I know because I read it on the internets.

FTR, I do not own a blender

Anti-blender bias!

You could lose an eye that way!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I am a toaster oven free zone. Too much counterspace used, too little use for it.

I blend often. It keeps my lassi costs down.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

You could lose an eye that way!

Like Fay said, you can make soup out of leftovers. Any leftovers.
