Insomnia sucks.
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Thanks, sj.
Jobma to Jilli and wide spectrum healthma to Fay. Healthma for javachik's dog.
Fie on Nora's essay reader. Nap on your own time!
Yay for good eyes, good boyfriends, and new babies. BT, that boy is adorable, and the pictures of all of you are lovely.
I hate posting just in beep me, but it seems like the time I have to post is bedtime...sleep or b.org... it's a quandary.
Quickie update on the state of me: Aidan probably has celiac. We've had to do the various samples for the doctor, and I'm dropping them off tomorrow. Kara is fine. Greg's a bit depressed, but managing. I'm chugging along okay. Miss hanging out in this thread every day. If I'd skim more, I'd probably have more time to post, but something catches my eye, I go back three screens to see what I missed, catch up, and I'm out of time, but I send the ~ma like crazy.
Hi Deena! Poor Aidan, and poor you. I hope things work out ok with Greg's pay cut.
Hey Deena.
Poor Aidan, and poor you. I hope things work out ok with Greg's pay cut.
What the smart lady said.
~mas and ~mas to Fay.
I wondered today why Peres (the pres here) is meeting Obama; unlike U.S., being pres here is mostly ceremonial gig. My roommate then explained to me that it's the best Israel can send before he'll meet with the really craxy chiefs here. And already, I saw an "Iran IS like Nazi Germany" quote from him. Dear God. Here we go.
If it wasn't so sad, it was funny.
Here's hoping today's a better day for everyone, especially Jilli and Nora. Good health wishes for Fay.
Today is a full day of paper-writing. Yesterday my friends distracted me all evening with pub-going and vodka-drinking. They are bad people (and I love them).
Good luck on the paper, Seska. Thanks, Shir and Andi.
Timelies. Am very tired. Today I go drop off Aidan's samples and get the car inspected. Our car, after too many expensive repairs, died permanently. We're driving an old one of my fil's, but he let the tags lapse. We're just glad to have a vehicle.
Good luck, Seska.
Today had a slow start, and I mean that mostly mood wise (though I suspect it started last night, and most of the last two days are a emotional... well, not blur, but not very clear).
And I just read Flowers For Algernon, and that pretty much makes me wanna die.
Fun day. And next on the menu, statistics.
::tacklehugs Deena::
It's so good to see your font. Also, my sister and nephew have celiac, and she has opinions on what cookbooks work, where to shop, etc., if you want any help along those lines. K can make a bitchin' rice flour birthday cake, I must say.
Does Nick also have celiac, or am I imagining that? Good to see you even once in a while, Deena!
Hooray for Deena sighting!
You're entitled to your good as it comes, vw.
TOTALLY. Also, selfishly, it definitely improved my mood knowing you were having a great day.
