[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Punishingly Intricate

Yes, those are gauchos. Shir looks cute in them. That doesn't change my irrational dislike of gauchos, but I have to admit she looks cute in them.

I feel the same.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Thanks for the input, guys. I wore them all day, but I wanted to hear another opinion before wearing them to uni. And yeah, Jilli, I have (had?) irrational dislikement for these too. That's why I asked, because I don't think they look bad on me. Oh, and Jilli, I hope you didn't miss the Hebrew lesson.

Now, I'll delete the pics and go to bed. Yeah, sleep.

there has been a longstanding debate about them, akin to cilantro and guacamole.

Who dares not to like guacamole? Now, I could be tired and envy with you guys having it, but I only had nachos and guacamole and all of that stuff when I was in LA, and dear God. THAT WAS GOOD.

Happy, happy Wee!tea!

What's the difference between gauchos and culottes? I've never been quite sure.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

And where do skorts fight on the spectrum?

Ani Sholetet means "You rock"? Neat! Thank you for the Hebrew lesson!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I think that skorts are mid thigh, culottes are just above the knee (and both are more tailored/sporty) and gauchos are below the knee and flowy. Then Palazzo Pants are flowy and ankle length.

I would call Shir's skirt/pants culottes.

Ani Sholetet means "You rock"?

No. It means "I rock". "You rock" is "Ata sholet" (ta and let gets the emphasis) for guys and "At sholetet" for dolls (pronounce the a like "Ah!", not like the a in "at", and as for the sholetet, all of the parts get sort of an emphasis to them, but it's mostly the "letet", and the two syllables should be heard clear: "let-et", and roll a little bit the "le" part in your mouth before moving to the "t" end and the next syllable.).

Ah, okay. I'm marking your post for future reference, because hey, these sorts of phrases are useful!
