You're nice, and you're funny and you don't smoke, and okay, werewolf, but that's not all the time. I mean, three days out of the month, I'm not much fun to be around, either.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Good luck, vw. I hope it's not serious.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

vw, that sounds really frustrating - I hope you feel better, and that the doctor can give you some answers or solutions.

I seriously covet almost everything I saw at NAIDEX. Including a mobility aid that costs £400 ($600?) and that I want anyway. Oh, and the most amazing accessible kitchen I ever saw in my life - I played in that for ages, like the very small child I am. And a few fantastic lifts. And a hydrotherapy pool. And foot massagers. Hmm. I either need a foolproof plan for winning the lottery, or they need to raise teachers' salaries a bit. Just a bit.

EDS underdiagnosis thing: Yeah, probably. Although most people have never heard of it. Including many doctors. "Sorry, you have what now?" Heh. I was certainly completely cluless about the condition until I was well into adulthood, and I *had* the thing. (Yeah, long story.)

People coming over to view my apartment in fifteen minutes. Must tidy. This is tricky, as I live on a mini-hellmouth.

Take care, vw. I hope it's nothing but the heat (if that).

“Not dead yet!”

Why did nobody tell me that Robert Pattinson was starring as Salvadore Dali in a Big Gay Arty Movie? This is relevant to my interests! Bicycles! Nice clothes! Angsty hot young arty boys in love! SO much more interesting than Twilight!

A-hem. I did so tell you, Missy! Way back when we were plotting ways of protecting the poor wee boy from the craxy fanpoodles who want him to bite them.

But still! I hope it releases in the backwater hell that is Jacksonville. Maybe because he's become so much more marketable now we'll get it at one of the big theatres.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Me too. My first diagnosis, once the doctors realized that it was something systemic and not just a bunch of individual joints, was juvenile arthritis. Which my symptoms didn't quite fit, but sort of did. The thing that always freaks out my doctors is that I tend to get little tiny red spots all over my arm from broken blood vessels whenever they use the automatic blood pressure cuff instead of the hand-pumped one. Fragile blood vessels + increased pressure = broken blood vessels. I've had doctors call in other doctors from the hallway to look at my arm when that happened, just because it seemed so weird.

Or when I started physical therapy for my shoulder a few months ago, and the therapist was testing my range of motion, there was one movement where, after she saw my shoulder bend, she exclaimed, "Wow! Look at that mobility!" Very surprised. Um, yes. That's kind of what the "hypermobility" part means. (Getting all my joints measured with the giant protractor was fun, though.)

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yikes, vw. I'm glad your mom can take you.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I hope they figure things out soon , vw.

The human body is interesting, it variants even more so.

of course, so are their brains. I had an interesting conversation with someone I usually don't talk to much. Turns out, that despite being 70-odd years old she still sort of thinks about men like a teen age girl does) . I spent some time convincing her that it was ok to say she just couldn't read one of the books her boyfriend gave her.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

I love Netflix because I can rent movies that never come here. Seska, I'm thirty-five and the only fully accessible kitchen I've ever even seen is in a CIL.

The status is NOT quo.

Eek, vw, be careful!

Seska, I don't think I've welcomed you yet, so WELCOME!
