Sir? I think you have a problem with your brain being missing.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yikes, vw. I'm glad your mom can take you.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I hope they figure things out soon , vw.

The human body is interesting, it variants even more so.

of course, so are their brains. I had an interesting conversation with someone I usually don't talk to much. Turns out, that despite being 70-odd years old she still sort of thinks about men like a teen age girl does) . I spent some time convincing her that it was ok to say she just couldn't read one of the books her boyfriend gave her.

I love Netflix because I can rent movies that never come here. Seska, I'm thirty-five and the only fully accessible kitchen I've ever even seen is in a CIL.

The status is NOT quo.

Eek, vw, be careful!

Seska, I don't think I've welcomed you yet, so WELCOME!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

What's a CIL?

Wishing lots of health-ma to ita and vw and a smooth delivery of impending Babytea!

Our wings are not tired.

Take care, vw.

DH bought me 'Dance Dance Revolution' for the Wii yesterday. So I tried to hook it up during lunch, but failed. Alas, I am going to have to have the kids do it. I don't mind admitting my failure to manage this task, because surely I could figure it out, it is just faster to delegate. My fear is finding the boys putting youtube videos up of this 55yo chubby mom making a fool of herself dancing with the Wii.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

PixKristin, hello!

erikaj, I can look at all the accessible kitchens in the world - I'm not likely to own one anytime soon. (But wow, was that kitchen gorgeous.) Now, the £400 walking aid, I'm already scheming about. Why is 'outside my price range, but not wildly outside of it' *so* much more tempting than 'can't even afford to ask how much it costs'? I wonder if I'd go to a lower circle of hell for robbing a mobility store than for robbing a general one. Hmm.

What's a CIL?

Centers for Independent Living. Here in the UK, they're called Centres for Independent Living. Spot the difference. Heh.

I should wait for The Girl to get home from work before watching House and How I Met Your Mother, shouldn't I? On the other hand, she'd never know...

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Center for Independent Living- which is a federal program in all fifty states to provide different sorts of outreach and advocacy to/by PWD. Our local one used to have cooking classes and the breakroom kitchen had perfect access.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

yeah, that's probably why it was so shocking...nobody I know can afford to have it done. Not that it makes me less useless in the kitchen, but you know...
