I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

What I should do: grade and prep.

What I want to do: go home.

What I am going to do: go prop shopping then go home.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Yay babytea!

Ehlers-Danlos here. I've kind of gone back and forth over whether I think of it as a disability -- there were some years when I was registered with Disability Student Services at school, and other years that I wasn't, and there are some days that I feel pretty much fine and can do most things that other people can do, and other days that pretty much any movement causes problems, and then a whole lot of days somewhere in between. Various splints and slings come on and off all the time.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

PMM, I just watched the series finale (and the pilot, but the less said about that the better) of Dark Angel, and was wondering if there was official word of what S3 would have looked like had it not been KILLED BY FIREFLY.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Bev can answer that better. There were apparently warring factions, one with an interesting idea, one with a really lame one. Which, given s2, probably means you'd have had a hot mess that made no sense as they fought. When did Alba and MW split up? Shortly after the show was cancelled, or a while?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Scenes from a Recession is a great episode of This American Life. I got home and couldn't stop listening.
