So there's this thing at work, where many of the women, including those who have no kids and no intention of having any, are using diaper bags to cart their laptops around. It's kinda brilliant in that the bags are lightweight, shoulder-friendly, easily wiped off, and relatively cheap. I'm thinking of nabbing something like this before my flight tomorrow, instead of lugging my ginormous wheeled pack thing. What say you all? Clever? Ridiculous? Only a good idea if I throw down for one of the $98 Zosephine bags?
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Huh-- hadn't thought of that, but makes perfect sense.
I will say, it was at Target that I found the best laptop bag ever in the luggage aisle. Nylon, padded interior, great shoulder strap and on sale for ten bucks. If you can, you should check the luggage aisles, Calli.

You're asking the girl who carried a fishing tackle box as a purse through most of high school.
I still haven't given up hope of owning this laptop bag. Warning: Bag porn.
My laptop bag is a messenger bag I got free from work (plus a neoprene sleeve), but I can vouch for the Skip Hop line of diaper bags being very sturdy and shoulder-friendly.
I'd like the Zosephine bag a lot better if they had more pictures of what the inside and back looked like! It looks really nice, but I want pictures from all sides and inside before I commit to buying something online. Hrmph.
I"m thinking for my next trip to the research library I'm just going to put my laptop in the bookbag and try not to bash it into anything. The bag I've got weighs almost as much as the laptop.
This is the bag I dream of some day owning.
(It's too bad the company has the same name as a sex-act term that Dan Savage uses.)

That's gorgeous, but looks like it would be heavy. I have the same issue as Connie - the bag alone weighs so much that carrying my computer back and forth is painful.

I'll check that out, too. Thanks!
And yeah, weight is the big issue with my current computer bag. It's on wheels, but I'm hoping to use the computer bag as a purse while I'm out of town, too.
