I"m thinking for my next trip to the research library I'm just going to put my laptop in the bookbag and try not to bash it into anything. The bag I've got weighs almost as much as the laptop.

And yeah, weight is the big issue with my current computer bag. It's on wheels, but I'm hoping to use the computer bag as a purse while I'm out of town, too.

Almost 20 years out of college, I still carry a backpack. I find most laptops also fit in it and now I carry my diabetes meds and testing kit in it as well.

It beats the hell out of a saddlebag, though not as macho.

I had to switch to a rolling case cause my laptop bag was killing my shoulder. The case work gave me is HUGE, but at least I don't have to lift it much. I'd love to find a slimmer rolling case, even if I have to pay for it myself.

I sort of live it every day, but Simon Cowell doesn't know about it so like the tree falling with nobody to hear it, it doesn't exist.
