Mal: That's not what I saw. You like to tell me what really happened? Book: I surely would. And maybe someday I will.

'Safe'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

What can I do to stop the possible repercussions in the morning? I am beside myself to think that I may have inadvertently offended someone deeply enough to get fired over this. What can I do, where can I turn, what do I say?

Late to the party, but I think that there are also issues with someone yelling "what the fuck is wrong with you" in the middle of an office.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Yeah, seriously. That's the thing that pinged me the most.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I think that there are also issues with someone yelling "what the fuck is wrong with you" in the middle of an office.

I do that all the time! To my computer and all the stupid countries of the world, not my co-workers.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Place I used to work, one staff person - a young woman - would walk down the hallway singing the raunchiest rap songs around at full volume. um ... disconcerting, to say the least.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Happy birthday, ND! Wishing you all sorts of goodness today...oh, wait, you've got Kristin. That's plenty of goodness right there. Instead, just wishing you some good quiet time together, because I know with your schedules that's rare and precious to both of you.

vw, that is one amazing name. Will you actually get to see this person when the meeting happens, or will he forever be just an amazing name?

Lots of recovery~ma, and grilled cheese in abundance, to Matt.

homemade cream of tomato soup

Oooh! Do you have a good recipe? I just recently actually read the label on the Campbell's and am mildly squicked by the HFCS.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I just recently actually read the label on the Campbell's and am mildly squicked by the HFCS.

If you don't feel like making it at home, I can vouch for the tastiness of the TJ's Tomato and Roasted Red Pepper soup. Om nom nom nom. Also! They have these freeze-dried banana chips that are heaven on earth, if you like dried bananas. Which I do.

Happy Birthday ND!

“Not dead yet!”

The V8 soups are also surprisingly tasty. I can vouch for the Southwestern Corn and the Tomato.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

JZ, this is my go-to recipe for tomato soup.

[eta: I use a food mill to puree & separate the seeds in one step instead of using a blender and then a sieve.]

[eta2: And I leave out the sugar and usually add less than the full 1/2 cup of cream. It's a really flexible recipe.]

Oh, yeah, I definitely love the TJ's (haven't tried the V8 yet). But it'd be fun to have an actual homemade recipe to play with too.
