She's still awake and talking. We're giving her water, and told her that she can go to sleep after she finishes. She's complaining that the water is too sweet.
This was either 5 or 6 shots in 45 minutes. At 2 in the afternoon. One of the other people drinking with her had office hours at the time, and one of his students came while he was still drunk and the office reeked of alcohol.
Seriously, people?
Damn, Hil. Don't let her lie on her back and try to get some calories into her.
Are there any area rabbis that deserve having your office mate sicced on them?
Damn, Hil. Don't let her lie on her back and try to get some calories into her.
She's saying she's going to puke from the water, so I don't think food would be a great idea yet. She's sitting on the floor now, with her head resting on the seat of a chair, and keeps saying, "Stop moving the chair!" Nobody is touching the chair.
Assuming she doesn't die, you should video her and post it on YouTube.
Has she never been drunk before?
Oh, that's possible. The first time I was really drunk, I was pretty confused....
Barb, I hope the rest of your healing happens quickly and painlessly.
Job ~ma for PMM's DH, and Epic.
It's cold and rainy outside. Where's the teleporter to get me home warm and dry, because the metro & bus aren't going to do so...
Depending on the size of the shots and whether you were accurately reporting her weight it could be hospital time for her. How long ago did she stop drinking?
If she really had six shots and she really weighs 100 pounds you really need to get her to the emergency room. Here's a chart.
We were considering ER, but then she threw up and felt better. She's doing better now.
And yes, she really did have five or six shots and she really does weight no more than 105 pounds. She made a bet that she could drink as much as this other guy, proportional to weight, which meant she had two for every three he had.
