Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I've decided I'm not going to try and go to Charleston this weekend. Between this and all the built up stress from my computer issues and other things I'm at my limit. I could barely sit still, I can't imagine being in a car even split over two days. And I'm going to take the day and chill. I must have been grinding my teeth last night becuase my jaw and shoulders are aching.
I called and told Dad and he said we could leave today but it's just...if he had said it yesterday, I would have been okay. But all the stress just, it's ..my nerves are frayed. Plus I was right. I did tell him that he needed to think about leaving today since US 90 is closed due to flooding at the Suwanee River and traffic is being routed through I-10.
He's reaction when I told him that I'd heard this on the news -- doubt. He wouldn't be sure until he could check it out online once he got to work (he doesn't have internet at home).
there are other genes involved beside BRCA.
While there are probably other genetic components, BRCA1 and BRCA2 are the only ones specifically identified so we can test for them. Also, about 80 percent of women with breast cancer have no known family history of the disease.

OMG so maddening! I think staying home is the best option for your sanity.
She waited for a few moments, but than mouthed "thanks for the cd's, gotta go". :( Dang it.
Immediate email - "Hey, sorry we didn't get to finish our talk. You know, some people might choose to express their gratitude by buying me a cup of coffee ;) "
Dear Volunteer -
I love you. You work well, you do almost anything I ask without problem and you do it well. However, if you keep working as fast and as well as you do, I am going to be the volunteer and you are going to have the job. That doesn't work for me.
Work slower, Very Cute Emo Boy with the purposely tousled hair.

Thanks for the hugs, y'all. In an odd twist of fate, Lewis forgot his cell phone today and as he's also working an inventory late tonight up in Fernandina (AKA the Back of Beyond) and wouldn't be likely to get home until two or three in the morning, I decided to put on outside pants and run his phone up to the store. It's a 35-45 minute hike, depending on traffic, so it wasn't any small jaunt, and he was annoyed-yet-pleased I'd done it.
Perversely, it helped me feel a lot better, like I was being useful and not just a lump. Of course, now I'm happy to be back in my inside pants.
Hec, that's TERRIBLE about that poor kid. Jesus.
The police arrested a man for crashing into and killing Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart:
The suspect has a prior DUI conviction and a suspended driver's license. What a fucking piece of garbage.
