HA! You know that's our family Haggadah. I mean, we have another one as well, but we usually default to Maxwell House.
We use a Haggadah from 1923. It's interesting. Oh, and I didn't make my kugel because my kitchen sink started leaking last night, so I didn't want to make a mess if I couldn't clean it up. Also, discovered (as Hil said earlier) that noodle kugel isn't kosher for Passover. Now, since I emailed my rabbi friend and said "I want to make kugel for passover, do you have a recipe" and he sent me a noodle kugel recipe, I'm justfied in being surprised.
So, when my sink gets fixed, I'll bring it for the final day of Passover.
Shit, the young pitcher for the Angels, Nick Adenhart, who threw against the A's last night was killed in a hit and run accident after the game. Young kid, top prospect, his whole life in front of them. Mini-van ran a red light. So fucking stupid.
Feel better, Barb.
I'm not quite awake enough to say more.
Oh, geez, Hec, that is so not right. My heart goes out to all who loved him.
DavidS beat me to the news. Just heard about it. Crazy! A rookie too. Just as the season starts. It's a tragedy in so many ways.

Sad news about the hit and run. Tragic.
Timing. HORRID! Cute gal I'm trying to flirt with stopped by to pick up a few CD's. We start talking about the Kal Penn thing, and NAMESAKE, and she notices my second monitor, which didn't have any applications open on it, just a wallpaper of Jayne, and she asks "Ooo, are you watching movies?" I was like, "huh"? "It looks like you have SERENITY paused over there, I love that movie". Not helping with the swoon. Any time I try to ask her out, her schedule is too busy. Not sure if it's really the case, or just getting the brush-off. Either way. It added to the swoon. But JUST as she said that, my boss calls. Who hadn't shown up for work yet, and a few of us were concerned. She waited for a few moments, but than mouthed "thanks for the cd's, gotta go". :( Dang it.
Billytea, much ~ma of the right thing happening variety for you. Its got to be a stressful situation for you.
