ND has the best toys. My commute is so short now, not worth getting sat radio.
Has anyone subscribed to the MLB extra innings on cable? My schedule this summer would allow a fair amount of baseball watching. And being central time, the games won't be too early or late no matter where the Yankees play. And this week has a $30 discount price.
Have never had MLB extra innings, so no advice, sorry.
Nor do I listen to regular radio anymore. IPod or CD's for me.
I ventured out today and went to my 30 minute karate lesson. We just took it slow and worked on the form I'm doing for tournament. Yay me. I survived. I may even go into the office tomorrow.
Suzi, good for you!
I listen to sports, NPR and my "Teaching Company" lectures in the car. I fear (a little)that I am not getting exposed to new music, outside of Pandora. I s'pose I rely on friends to steer me to the new good stuff.
Hec, that would be great!!
Wow. That looks like a low-end Entourage.
I'm very much hoping you won't still be sick in a week and a half when the party is.
I've had a sinus infection since January. I think it's a pretty safe bet that you'll still have a sick friend in a week and a half.
It took me a long time, but I finally came to terms with the fact that there's no obligation to explain why you turn down an invitation. I just say, "I'm sorry I can't be there," which is the truth. I may just be sorry that a friend or relative has taken up selling things in the guise of parties, but I'm still sorry.
What does RPF mean? ETA: Real Person Fiction?
Yeah it's Real Person Fic.
I've been watching S1 of Burn Notice on dvd and I just watched part of the Quincy Rose pilot and Nick Brendan looks A LOT like Bruce Campbell. The pink shirt Nick's wearing, the sunburn in the start of that..might as well been on set of Burn Notice as Sam's long lost son. Or brother. Or something. (Bruce Campbell sooooo should have been Xander's dad).
Need a dose of canine cuteness? [link] A brief compilation of loldogs in my LJ.
I'm pretty addicted to my satellite radio as well. Between that and the iPod adapter in the car I rarely turn to regular radio.
Between my iPod and NPR, I don't think I'd really use satellite radio.
