I've had a sinus infection since January. I think it's a pretty safe bet that you'll still have a sick friend in a week and a half.
It took me a long time, but I finally came to terms with the fact that there's no obligation to explain why you turn down an invitation. I just say, "I'm sorry I can't be there," which is the truth. I've been watching S1 of Burn Notice on dvd and I just watched part of the Quincy Rose pilot and Nick Brendan looks A LOT like Bruce Campbell. The pink shirt Nick's wearing, the sunburn in the start of that..might as well been on set of Burn Notice as Sam's long lost son. Or brother. Or something. (Bruce Campbell sooooo should have been Xander's dad).

I'm pretty addicted to my satellite radio as well. Between that and the iPod adapter in the car I rarely turn to regular radio.
Between my iPod and NPR, I don't think I'd really use satellite radio.

For me it's the two channels of NPR on Sirius that I'm tuned into much of the time.
