I don't see adding jalapenos as any different in sentiment than adding cinnamon or raisins.
Except jalapenos are evil. But so are raisins.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Jalapeño challah sounds kinda gross to me, because I always think of it as being kinda sweet. But with some other bread and adding the cheese and chorizo and stuff sounds great!!
My DH started to make challah when we moved here, because we haven't found the options in DC to be very good
Huh. I feel like there's gotta be a place with good bread--surely somewhere up in Rockville?

Rockville is a schelp for us.
Trader Joe's is about the best option for fresh, crusty dinner-type bread (although we don't particularly like the challah) when one weighs price/convenience. The local co-op has good bread, but it's $4-5 for a 1/2 loaf, which is crazy.
We're willing to pay the price at the co-op for the challah because we need it for Friday night, and it's right down the street.

Ah, but see, that's where all the Jewish stores are (like KosherMart). And the yummiest bagel bakery. So I'm assuming you can get good challah somewhere there. (Obvi, I used to work up in Rockville for years and years)
Hi. 416 posts since I could check in last. Life is too busy!
Whoo, I have a more or less completed rough draft of one of the essay questions! Now to tackle the second one...
t still not really here
Nora! MWAH!
I really enjoy the challah talk (in Israel, it's very hard to find a home without one on Saturday night - my family usually buy 2), but here's what's weird to me: challah is the singular form in Hebrew, so I keep expecting you to write challahs when referring to challahot (challah in plural, in Hebrew), because all of those funny-grammar rules.
And I wanna know if challahs in US taste different than the ones in Israel.
I have a drug use question. Someone I know is claiming to have gotten great results from using Adderall occasionally for increased concentration and weight loss.
Is Adderall addictive and can it hurt her?
She doesn't seem 'altered' or unhealthy but I always wonder about off-use drugs. I wiki'ed Adderall, and separately, amphetamine addiction but don't see anything specific linking the two.
Hey there, vw.
Ugh, I think I am pretty much fried but I really want to do more work. Maybe I'll take an extended break and return later, instead of deciding to knock off for the day.
The key is not having a beer!
