I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Librarian Warlord

It's good news about your blood test, bonny!

I stopped at the co-op to pick up some challah for tonight and a couple other small items. The bill was $7.57. I handed the clerk $20.57. She typed into the register that I'd given her $200.57 and she couldn't figure out how much change to give me. It was painful.

To make up for yesterday's clueless patron, I had the nicest, most polite patron ever today. He was sprinting to open doors for me as we gathered what he needed around the library.

I can't tell you how many times I've had a clerk call me for help with this same question. As if somehow the register will know that you didn't put in a hundred and give change for it.

Now tagless for your comfort.

OMG, I miss good Challah. I used to live five minutes from two kosher bakeries and this is what I miss most about living up here.
