Ohhhhh.
Then my guess is they don't really want to be in the rental business, would much rather sell.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our mortgage payment is less than rent in our area.

Ours too, by about 25%. But of course, rent has to cover the landlord's mortgage plus property taxes plus utilities (usually water and heat are included in NYC) and I assume most landlords also want to make a profit...
I'd bet I could rent a much nicer place for what I'm paying in mortgage, given the vacancy rates around here.

Aims - good outcome-ma.
Is anyone else watching The Guild?
My mortgage plus condo fees pretty much equals what my place would rent for if it were still an apartment. The only way I save is that I get a bigger tax refund, now.
