I'm not on the ship. I'm in the ship. I am the ship.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

OMG, i haz internet at work. It's a miracle! Let's see how long before i get banned for improper use ;P

If that's an actual goal for you, I look forward to hearing how this plays out.

All is well that ends in pizza.

At my work, where there are around 100 people employed, everyone has full internet access...except the helpdesk.

In other words, the one entity in the company who might benefit from full internet access does not have it.

This is because one helpdesk employee downloaded porn at work five years ago.

I feel like I'm in Jr. High.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

At my job we do things like deal with HIV/AIDS counseling and training, female genital cutting, and training skilled childbirth assistants and put material relating to all this online. Most internet filters won't work for us. They just make sure there's enough work so people don't have time for porn.

I know, I know. [chirpy voice] There's always time for porn! [/chirpy voice]

Librarian Warlord

I just had a pornography question this week and regularly get them from another professor that writes about child pornography. That prof is very good about letting me tell her I've had enough for the day.

“Not dead yet!”

Yay, Bev!

And ooph, Andi-- good luck with dealing with the s/s. I think your plan is definitely a good one-- you've been putting up with this for far too long.

It's very rainy here today again. God knows we need the rain, but the air conditioner's compressor has been broken since Friday and no one's been able to fix it. Hopefully today, since they seem to have located the necessary part. I just hope that the massive amounts of rain and humidity haven't done a number on some of our furniture.

I like beth's suggestion about framing it around professionalism and professional ethics.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Dear God. Today it's became offical: Netanyahu is the PM. Again.

I really wish this one was an April Fool's joke.

My boss is out on jury duty again today. Isn't that supposed to mean not sending a zillion emails?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Not clicking on Barb's link, and I don't ever want to see those last two words so close together ever, ever again. What were those people thinking?
