Hmmmm. The school is posting a position in my ACTUAL field, rather than this I've-been-making-it-up thing I've got going now. Should I apply, or stay where I am?
(I'm in Bitches this time, right? Man, I'm dumb.)
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am resisting the urge the urge to look back and see how bad my drunken posts were last night.
(((Aims))) Good results-ma.
Good result wishes, Aims.
Apply, Emily! You love your field. Unless you don't anymore.
Would that take care of the certification problems you were having? Am I remembering that anywhere close to right?
sj, you were nothing but cute with the drunk posts.
{{Aims}} Best possible outcome ~ma
I think you were more coherent than I was, sj.
Emily, apply for the job.

Positively Pete-esque in her adorableness.
Moms - how do you get a kid up and moving in the morning, when he wants to do anything but?
Not a mom, but I have dealt with the occasional person who sleeps very hard in the morning, regardless of intent or will towards getting things done. Gradually. I've had some success with bringing a glass of orange juice with me - for some, the metabolism needs a bit of fuel to get started. Also, loud music not of the person's favored style.
Such an individual must learn to lay outfits out and otherwise get organized for the coming day on the evening before, to minimize what needs to be accomplished during the morning routine.
