There is a free light show in the sky right now. Pretty!!
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
{{{{Aims}}}} much ~ma to you.
Fay, break a leg. Remember that you are fabulous, and beloved.
Askye, if The Cat Dean is giving you grief about taking meds, you might do yourself a favor and get some Pill Pockets. They are yummy to cats, and you can smoosh them around the pills.
Hil, that sounds like a rough trip. I'm glad you survived.
{{{Aims}}} All kinds of ~ma. I'm assuming they're doing a fine needle aspiration biopsy. If so, it feels a little funky and you do feel some pressure, but it doesn't really hurt. My doc even sprays your neck with a numbing agent, so you don't feel the needle prick at all. I didn't have any pain or even discomfort afterwards.
Do not, under any circumanstances, look at the needle. I am not needle squeamish (I had blood drawn today and watched the whole thing), but it's a long puppy.
If the nodules are cysts, they can drain them with the needle while they're in there. I highly recommend doing that. It can relieve pressure in your neck if they're big.
I just found out that the services for my friend Donna are tomorrow. This makes me feel better about my decision to cancel the trip. Even if we had gone we would be on a plane home right now and would still have missed the services.

Thanks for the advice!! The nodules are complex, which means a) they are both solid and cystic and 2) just like me.
Hee!!
That is one smug little camel. That is a camel that is thinking, "Do you see how cute I am? Plus? I'm a camel. I can so cross deserts better than you can." And the momma camel is thinking, "See what I made? Best baby. Camel. Ever."

Good luck, Aims.

Much love, thoughts and prayers to Aims today.
{{{sj}}} Hang in there, love.
bonny, thanks for the terrier stories. Toto really has improved so much over his lifetime. I was actually quite surprised by his antics over the weekend, as were my parents. Like I said, we had just been talking about how much he'd grown up. I, though, apparently still need to be mindful of open doors :).
Good luck today, Aims.

OMG, I cannot second this recommendation strongly enough. Pill Pockets were AWESOME for our cat.
