I will have to call. The last time I asked them whether they were offering any sort of competing discounts in the face of AT&T Uverse, they were all, "Well, you're not under a contract, we don't care if you leave." Maybe they're feeling the pressure now?

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I called Comcast last week to ask if they could fix a glitch on my dvr, and while they couldn't do anything about that, they did end up giving me $30 off my cable tv bill for the next six months. I could have gotten it locked in for the next year, but I didn't want to have to sign anything just in case I get laid off and have to cancel my cable completely.
Comcast wouldn't give me any kind of deal when our promo rate was running out and, in fact, tried to sell me a more expensive package. Idjits.
I may be slightly evil. I put about twice the usual amount of cat food into the treat toys,
I tried treat toys with Mr Peabody. He is a very direct little dog. He just chewed through the toy.
What do I have to make the obnoxious person next to me stop trying to talk to me?
I find violence works.
I may not be in a great mood right now, so take that with a grain of salt.

I should try this toy. I think my little Boo Bear (Casper) would love it. Yes, the Casper love affair continues - he's just the sweetest, cuddliest, most adorable little guy! Bianca and momo are not chopped liver (love them), but they are just not as cuddly and interactive as baby Boo. Is this true of female vs. male cats in general?
I don't wanna go food shopping!!

I believe that in general, male cats are more outgoing and effusive. I know that Harvey is exponentially more snuggly than Samathea, or any other female I've had, to the point he often seems very demanding. But as far as interactive play goes, they both seem equally inclined to include us two-leggers in their games. As both a long-haired cat and one that had a very rough start to life therefore a bit of a spaz, Sammie does not like to snuggle. The thing is, Sammie IS affectionate and loves to play with us. Its more like, for her just being in the same room with someone says about the same for the level of trust and affection as Harvey expresses by jumping up onto your shoulders. Harvey often snuggles up with me while I sleep - lying on top of my legs, usually in some spot that makes it impossible to move or be comfortable. Sammie will sleep next to me - in summer, she sleeps on the chair next to the bed, in winter, she sleeps on the bed. She usually spends about three minutes kneading her claws and purring oh, so softly then moves away to her spot. It's very comfortable and companionable. Harvey wants to be held for hours at a time. Sammie won't stay still in my arms for more than 20 seconds except at the veterinary clinic. Harvey paws at my leg when he is hungry or wants me to play with him. Sammie sits in my line of sight and stands up on her hind legs, which if caught on video would cause many people to be utterly ded of teh cyute. I see Sammie as comfortably affectionate, and Harvey as overwhelmingly so. The differences you note in your cats may well be sex differences combined with personality differences, informed by life experiences.
Speaking of pets, apparently a bill has been introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives to allow tax deductions for veterinary expenses of pets: [link]
