Honestly, you meet the most appalling sort of people....

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It's 2:45 on a Friday night. Quiet. Too quiet.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Holy helluvagame!! I set up the dvr to record yankees vs bosox game. Default is 3 hours. I setup 4.5 hours to record. After TWELVE scoreless innings, the dvr runs out!!! Ugggg. So now I got baseball tonight on espn. It's showing an earlier broadcast. Game still on. I wanna SEE how it ended!

Ion- hi Shir!! :: Kermit wave ::

Update: holy cow! Bottom of the 15th inning! Two outs, one on, A-rod smacks it into the visitors bull pen for the walk off HR!! FIFTEEN innings!!! Omg! Nearly two games worth. 5 hours, 33 minute game!

Tomorrow should be interesting. Neither team will have much of a bullpen.

I have no idea about what type of quiet you speak of, tommyrot. Between my Saturday morning and omnis' cries of battle, we should have something to distract your attention.

Would you like a picture of a cat, instead?

Two usually puts me out like a light, Hil.

Tramadol makes me all jumpy and keeps me awake all night. Codeine-based stuff sends me to sleep. I have to be quite careful not to get them mixed up...

Hil, I hope you feel better soon.

Hi Seska!

For anyone who needs entertainment, here's what I just posted in Natter: Shir "Natter 64: Yes, we still need you" Aug 8, 2009 1:49:23 am PDT

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

My right arm actuall got a bit sunburnt yesterday, while I was sitting in the sun having lunch with a friend. Proof that the rain briefly went away. (Also. Was persuaded that an hour on a bench with no back 'won't hurt'. This was a lie. It still hurts, twenty hours later.)

Shir - that's funny. I don't know any other small countries where moving is such a thought-out business.

The Girl's parents are thinking of moving back to Tel Aviv (they currently live in Europe). They seem determinedly opposed to any other area of the country - apparently everywhere else is backwards...

Here, I just go "I feel like living [name of city] for [insert academic reason]" and The Girl rolls her eyes and calculates what her train fares every weekend will be if she ever wants to see me again.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Gronklies. Got at least a few hours of sleep, anyway.
