[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So I see the Sunday night insomnia is a global thing.
Yes, the insomnia fairy was BUSY last night. I remember seeing 4:24 on the clock. Slept in a bit, but still groggy. Insomnia not helped by the fact that I found and read an old letter from my dad. No big, just a little note that he sent me right before my backpacking trip with some advice about where to go and what to see. So, there was also some very deliberate not thinking about that. And did I mention the PMS? And the fact that something got caught in the tiny space in my back tooth, causing swelling and discomfort. Not pain, and will go away by lunchtime, but annoying and not helpful with the trying to get to sleep. Yes, last night sucked out loud.
I would've been bitten hard by the insomnia fairy last night, had it not been for the lovely muscle relaxer that took care of the odd pain shooting from my neck, across my shoulder and down my arm.
I did try going to sleep without taking anything, but yeah, that didn't work. So I wound up sleeping great, but coming up on noon and I'm still groggy and can't think straight.
Am I allowed to do this one??
I didn't open the link, but I say yes, sweetcakes.
Happy Birthday Deena!
squirrels a little of Jars' job ma, and if there's any SignTheDarnFreelanceContractAlready~ma out there, I'm lookin'.
Oh connie, I'm so sorry.
Happy birthday Deena!
I'm making tacos for dinner tonight. I've been wanting to make this recipe for a while, but it requires more pans than I own, so I'm making it now while I'm visiting my parents. I'm also reading Julie & Julia, watching the Food Network, and thinking about Michael Pollan's article in the Times yesterday claiming that nobody cooks anymore and the country is going to hell in a handbasket because of it, so I'm having a rather foodie day.
And because it deserves a post of its own, Birthday Felicitations, Deena! May there be cake, and sparklers, and hugs and kisses and wishes that come true!
