Eat a Guatemalan Insanity Pepper and then I'll be impressed.
Why, are they particularly sour?
My capsicum tolerance went hasta la bye-bye when I had that reaction to Zithromax a few months back - it made everything, and I mean, everything, including chocolate, taste like pepper.
ION, I ended up getting a gc to Lowes and a basil plant for the housewarming gift. The basil smells so good!
Brilliant! I'm sure they'll love it.
And now I have to work up the ambition to walk all the way across the street to the bank. I don't know if I can make it. But if I do, I may walk across the next street to go to the farmers' market.
Farmers market sounds worth it
yay for date, yay for good jobma, boos for bad job news.
re: heat insanity - reassuring news from a self-proclaimed cat expert at work: cats evolved in the deserts of the middle east and therefore i should not be overly concerned about feline heat exhaustion. I still left my puny window unit all day while i've been at work....here's hoping that's enough cooling power so that i don't spend my entire evening lying on ice packs, spritzing a chilled water bottle into the nearest fan (again). I am so not designed for this weather. I was still highly disturbed to see the kitten panting. His little pink tongue and white teeth against the black fur. So patheticly not evil.
Some cats will sit in an empty bath tub when it gets really hot out. (I guess the ceramic tub holds in the cool from the previous night.)
Umm...why does io9.com have an article pointing people to Raging Stallion Studios? Hardcore gay porn?
The io9.com article - [Link]
THAT article is SFW.
Don't click the link IN the article. Hoo-boy.
When it gets really hot I run wet hands or a washcloth over the cat. When the cat that found water evil did nothing more than a mild meow in protest -- I assume it helped.
yay for sorta date and good job news. may they both be worth any worries and grow into better things.
Um, that link doesn't go to io9.
Update: I used the Mother's Room and had a nice half hour nap. Aaaaaah.
