Au Bon Pain. Usually it's easy comfort food, but my usual just was not up to par today.
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
The local "big-time" gay soccer team - Stonewall FC - is in Copenhagen playing in a global gay "world cup" of sorts. I'm a fan, of course - not just hawt soccer players, but some friends play in the league.
They just posted a picture (Warning: male flesh and underwear is visible) on their Facebook of one of the teams they're playing today. 3 of them are shirtless and look like swimsuit models. Talk about DISTRACTING. :)
My poor locals; too busy drooling to play well. Ah, well.
ETA: THERE VORTEX. :P

My local Thai place has come up with a lovely little snack: curry fries. Lucky I was smart and decided not to douse them all in sauce last night. I am attempting to heat up some leftovers for breakfast.
Well, drat. My boss said, "The article's fine and has to go up now now now." An hour later the CEO says, "The article's full of errors and has to come down now now now."
I feel incompetent in spite of the fact that the person I report to gave me the go-ahead. Bleh.
I don't know how this could be Tino's fault, but I'm sure I'll find a way.
Plus there is the fun of when and how often to call for a status update shows initiative and healthy interest versus when it becomes stalkerish.
I'm currently wrestling with that right now. It's been a week, and the interview seemed to go well. I expected to have been contacted about next steps or never mind by now...
Curry fries are my total weakness. Usually you find them in Irish places, IME.
Now I want curry fries, dammit. t scowls at salad
Jilli, your book has an unexpected fan in our house: [link] and [link].
Awwww! Cute!
I do not approve of this weather, and I don't want to do job-hunting. Bah.
I have heard that when you send a thank-you for the interview it's good to say you will contact the interviewer again and when.
