how disturbing is my mom's ecard? (recommend turning off sound)

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
That card is just baffling, erin. Also, I'm boggled that you need A/C in PDX; it's just wrong.
Grr argh, Laga, on the disappointing word from the repeal 8 people, but yay on making the contact.
I'm having a stupid hard time getting myself to redo my resume and work on a cover letter for something that just posted at my uni that is basically my dream job (if I must have a day job). I've been home sick all day, and I'd kind of thought I'd be able to use that time to get everything together, but instead I've been in a cold-medication haze; I've managed to watch Coraline and boggle at a whole lot of alarmingly clue-deficient comments on one of the Atlantic blogs (Ta-Nehisi Coates: so many white people being so historically tone-deaf it hurts), but I haven't actually DONE a damn thing all day. Possibly I am in fact sick, not just sniffly.

Did you get my e-mail?
Go JZ!
Sounds like you might be real sick , JZ
erin , that card was disturbing.
Did I just hear The Count from Sesame Street singing about hands in a commercial for a faucet?
I agree that i really should not need AC in PDX. If i enjoyed this kind of weather i would have stayed in Va. There was much flaggellation when i purchased the window unit, but i was getting used to night shift and day sleeping and it felt justified.
Breaking news! Many in Clackamas lost power for a few hours today. Old people might die in hot weather and should be checked on frequently. We need to stay hydrated during Hotpocalypse. Yeah, yeah, yeah, i get it.
Did you get my e-mail?
Yes, I did. See: stupid. Thanks much, and if I can get my brain in gear I'll ping you with something tomorrow.
I have probably a dozen personal emails and various projects that need attention, but I'm just...dumb right now. I had to go in to work first thing in the morning to deal with some early-Monday stuff that couldn't be palmed off on anyone else, and then got caught with a couple of phone calls and scheduling snafus that required actual thoughtful, patient work, and by the time I came back home at 10:30 I was practically drooling.
Yeah, it's 102 degrees here right now. Which is just insane hot.
So I went to the doctor and oh yeah, I totally had a concussion. But my brain is no longer scrambled and still spicy. Wicked bruising but that's all. I have 5 mg Flexeril now and have taken one. I'm a little relieved that I passed the spicy brain test. And wear your seat belts, seriously.
Congratulations on your brain spice retention, Cass.
