Hi, everyone! I feel like I've been away so long, so I just wanted to pop in with a quick update.
Work is work, still dating my cutiehead geek boyfriend, which is going fabu. I have no social life this summer, because everyone is pregnant and I am learning how to be the girlfriend of a guy with his 7 y.o. here for a month! (Hint: Watch lots of Godzilla movies, and take up Wii.)
He's met my parents, I've met his mom and stepdad, and will be going to Iowa next weekend to go to a air balloon rally thingie with CHGBF, the kiddo and CHGBF's mom and SF. It should be fun, but I will have to get up really REALLY early, which is personal challenge for me.
Other than that, everything is pretty much the same, which is ok, since it means no catastrophes. Yay! I hope everyone is doing well.

Which is closer to the tropics, AND on the Gulf of Mexico, so should be nice and warm and muggy. Eeeeew. But, I'll be seeing some old CA friends, and going to a ball game at a park I've yet to visit. Should be fun!
