I made kale with chickpeas and lots and lots of garlic for dinner. Yum.
'Safe'
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I need to figure out lunch for tomorrow. Leftover kale and chickpeas and couscous, carrot sticks and dip, apple slices, and walnuts? All of those things are tasty and healthy. None of those things are cupcakes.
Ooof. Home again after ten days in D.C. Had fabulous time both just sightseeing and at my conference, highlights being of course the visit with Sparky and Stephanie and families and of course, Vortex and Maria (btw, the fashion scaries got worse for Saturday night). Now I'm home, in my jammies, and watching a Doctor Who marathon on BBC America.
So tired.
GGG just called, inviting me Shakespeare in the Park. Still got headache. Of course, I'm going. Must think of something picnic-snacky to bring to the party
Psst, omnis, I think someone likes you.
Seriously! No one calls me to invite me to Shakespeare in the Park.
Ya, hope so. But wish it was solo outing, not a group thing. But hey, meeting more of her friends can't be a bad sign.
In the meantime. Headache brain not coming up with something to bring for picnic munchies.
Sesame noodles? Fruit salad?
Spinach dip and veggies?
I brought veggies & fruit platters to the game session last night. Didn't go over very well. I want to bring ice cream, but I don't have a cooler, plus the box o ice cream sandwhichs would get mighty squishy in ice water.
