Pretty cool except for the part where I was really terrified and now my knees are all dizzy.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh Anne, that suck. I hate that feeling.

But YAY for the GlamBaby, and for PC's car issue working out. I still have a dent in my passenger side door because I didn't realize it happened until forever later...since I never go on that side, I have no idea when it happened!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I really need to find something better for my ankle. I can't keep having nights like this.

I'm pretty sure this means no rollerblading in Maine. Maine is the best place for rollerblading -- the neighborhood where we stay has almost no traffic, and the streets were only paved recently and are still really smooth. Put on wheels, and I can go zoom.

I think my shoulder is almost better enough for me to try trapeze again, though. So I can fly, even if I can't go zoom. Maybe. I'll try kayaking first, and if my shoulder survives that, then I'll try trapeze.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Oh Anne. You have all my sympathy.

Yay GlamBaby!

Packing for NYC. Oh God, packing. The weather is supposed to be in the 80s with thunderstorms. Do not want.

I just somehow managed to hiccup while inhaling and nearly choked. That was an interesting feeling. I don't recommend it.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I am filled with GlamBaby glee!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

That's great news, GC. I'm a big fan of healthy ultrasounds.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

{{{Anne}}} I hope things improve. I really do.

That is a relief, P-C. Glad to hear he took responsibility.

You know, I was thinking about the fact that I was so surprised and relieved and grateful that he took responsibility and made no excuses at all...and it sort of annoyed me because, what the hell, that's what I should expect! It's what you're supposed to do if you're a decent person!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry, anne. I hope things start easing for you soon.

Well, I'm off to Michigan this afternoon. Tomorrow we'll have Dad's interment and then we'll spend the weekend on Lake Huron.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Thanks for the hugs, all. I did wake up for a bit in the middle of the night, but I'm feeling reasonably rested. If all goes well, I may be able to get enough done today that the sense of immediate pressure is lifted somewhat.

I just wish I had the wherewithal to work more than 10 hours a day for a few days in a row.
